Year 1 Teacher Job, Borough of Kingston upon Thames

I am currently working with a lovely school in Kingston, who are seeking a Year 1 teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from April.

About the role:

You will be teaching a mixed ability Year 1 class. There are a few children with SEN needs in the class, and one child on an EHCP, however this child has a 1:1 support with him and can achieve his full potential, with clear guidelines.

About the school:

You will be joining a 'Good' 2 form entry school in the heart of Kingston. The school has a strong Christian ethos, and staff are committed to ensuring that pupils develop morally, academically and socially, within a nurturing and safe environment. The senior leadership team are extremely supportive and friendly, and there are plenty of CPD and training opportunities. A generous amount of PPA time is offered, which will be spent with the other co-teacher in the year group.

About you:
