We are working with a lovely primary school in Milton Keynes who require a full time Year 1 class teacher, starting from January 2025.

This role is full time and long term with full classroom and teaching responsiblities. The start date is January 2025 until the end of this academic year with the scope to become permanent from September 2025. A permanent contract could be offered sooner for the right candidate.

Genuinely lovely school with very low staff turn over. This is a great role for a qualified and experienced Key Stage 1 teacher. The primary school would ideally like someone who is experienced, confident and able to hit the ground running, although they are open to a confident ECT with Key Stage 1 experience.

The requirements -

To be a successful Year 1 teacher you will need to;

  • Be a Qualified Teacher holding QTS with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education. NQTs/ECTs also welcome to apply
  • Have the ability and experience of working within Key Stage 1
  • Be adaptable to all working surroundings
  • Inspire and have a passion to educate
  • Behaviour management skills
  • Strong classroom presence
  • Be committed and reliable
