An inclusive free school in Bermondsey, South East London, currently have a very desirable vacancy for a year 1 teacher to work with booster groups and provide PPA cover across key stage 1. The position starts ASAP paying an annual salary of up to £39,006.
The school is a brand-new school which opened in September 2016 with 60 reception aged children. It's now a small but growing family community school of 120 children. The school shares a leadership team with its 'outstanding' sister school across London and aspires to also achieve 'outstanding' status. The school is sponsored by a large corporation who also sponsor well known arts and cultural organisations as well as having responsibility for thousands of acres of beautiful open spaces across London. The school is a short walk from the local mainline station with excellent train and bus links from South East and central London
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a year 1 teacher to teach small booster groups, and to also provide general cover for key stage 1 teachers who are out of class.
The Year 1 teacher must have:
*Full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Experience as a year 1 teacher or experience teaching in key stage 1
*Experience teaching small groups for intervention/booster sessions
*Professionalism, adaptability and a hard-working attitude
*The ability to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
*Adaptability, creativeness and a willingness to help wherever possible
