Year 1 (KS1) Learning Support Assistant- Reading Mentor
Teaching Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within the Borough of Barnet, providing reading support for KS1 pupils. Individuals considering this position should have experience within a classroom based setting, supporting children with their literacy on a 1-1 basis.
Experienced Teaching Assistants who are looking to work in a new school:
- Ideally have a Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
- 1-1 support with literacy
- Minimum six months experience working with children at various age groups
- SEN experience (desired)
In this role you will be supporting children with differing abilities and capabilities. The ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to raise attainment, ensuring that all safeguarding policies are adhered to and has a positive attitude towards delivering 1-1 support to pupils but can also aid the class teacher when asked.
