Year 1 class teacher

A large 4-form entry primary school in Croydon are urgently seeking a year 1 teacher to join the team and work until at least July.

The school are rated 'good' by Ofsted and results in each key stage are higher than the national average. They are proud that students not only achieve academically but also excel in a wide range of activities that are available to them. This school is part of a growing federation who share the core values of safety, community, resilience and equality. Headteachers work together effectively to ensure staff are happy, well supported and truly valued. You will also be part of the friendly key stage 1 team and benefit from regular team planning sessions!

This is a great opportunity to teach a lovely focused and well behaved year 1 class, who unfortunately have lacked consistency in not having a regular class teacher this academic year. Due to this it is essential that you can commit to working until the end of the summer term.

-QTS (or equivalent qualifications to teach at primary level)
-Primary teaching experience (NQTs welcome)
-Ideally year 1 or key stage 1 teaching experience
-Committed, hardworking and supportive
-Ability to plan independently and share ideas in a group
-Organised, focused and proactive
