Year 1 class teacher - April 2018 start - MATERNITY COVER

The Teaching Team are in need of a Key Stage 1 teacher to take on a Year 1 class, starting in April 2018 (after the Easter Holidays to cover a maternity leave! The role is initially until the Summer Holidays but, may continue into the new academic year (this will depend on the job role being filled through the interview process).

The school is based in the inner city and has a great Key Stage 1 team and the school is a friendly teaching environment. As the school is inner city based you will need to have strong behaviour management skills and enjoy the challenges of working in an inner city primary school.

If you are an experienced Key stage 1 teacher with Year 1 teaching experience and looking for a role that has commitment to the pupils, staff and school then this role maybe the one for you. You will be expected to undertake full classroom responsibilities along with meetings and parents evenings as and when needed!

The successful Primary Teacher will need to have Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE, B.Ed, GTP, SCITT BA HONS with QTS or equivalent.
