Your new school

You will be working as a Teaching Assistant for a large mainstream Primary School based in the South Cotswolds. The Primary School has excellent support systems in place for their staff members and have outstanding teaching practices.

Your new role

In this Teaching Assistant job you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in KS2 on the Autistic spectrum until the end of academic year within the class environment. For this Teaching Assistant job you will require experience with challenging behaviours as changes to routine can trigger these.

What you'll need to succeed

  • SEND experience is essential within a school setting
  • You will have specific school based experience in a Teaching Assistant job
  • Two previous long term placement references completed
  • It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification and a grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level
