Bookkeeper job opportunity based in Stevenage, this newly created role is intended to embrace a team working approach. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior bookkeeper, qualified by experience working in professional practice, seeking an opportunity to develop and/or broaden their skill set within a professional and supportive environment. Full training and support will be provided on the job. Main duties and responsibilities, these include but are not limited to: Bookkeeping and Accounting, Undertaking Xero bookkeeping, VAT returns, Monthly management accounts preparation, Cash book entry and bank reconciliation, checking company details and processing as required, Maintaining the Sales ledger and purchase ledger, Prepayments, accruals and journal entries, Foreign currency, Processing employee expenses, Preparing invoices, Completing VAT coding, Part qualified or qualified AAT, would be very advantageous. Bookkeeping experience within a professional practice is essential. Experience with Xero desirable but not essential.
