As Workshop Technician at Akzonobel you will be responsible for commissioning of all colour mixing equipment for the Decorative and Automotive business units; preparation and packing of all Point of Sale orders; refurbishment of various components used to support the colour mixing equipment and preparation and packing engineer material orders. You will ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and liaise with 3rd party vendors to follow up on late or incomplete deliveries.
Service driven with some previous experience in an administrative role, you will be a practical problem solver, able to prioritise your work load and understand engineering procedures. You must also have a fork lift truck qualification.
