MONDAY TO FRIDAY. DAYS

Workshop Manager required for a well established, growing and progressive company. They offer the opportunity of training and development and progression routes to more senior roles. They are well established and industry leading in their sector.

The role would workshop managers, process managers, team leaders, shift supervisors from ANY manufacturing background. Applicants must have experience working within a busy manufacturing environment and have good people management skills. Candidates from a process engineering or assembly background will have a considerable advantage.

Working closely alongside the Planning Manager and Assembly manager you will essentially manage the day to day operations on the shop floor. You will look after a team of up to 18 people across the site. You will manage an area which consists of 35 processing machines; 2 blow moulders, 29 injection mould machines and 4 extrusion lines. You will ensure that there is accurate allocation of labour and that the production plan is being met. You will ensure that products are being made to high quality standards.

The Role:

*Overseeing the day to day running of the shop floor

*Looking after a team of up to 18 people across Injection Mould, Extrusion, Blow Mould and Assembly departments.

*Allocation of Labour

*Working closely with the Planning Manager and Assembly Manager to adhere to Production Plan

*Driving KPIS and ensuring products are made to a high quality standard

*Monday to Friday. Days based role.

The Person:

*Will ideally be an experienced workshop manager, process manager, team leader, shift supervisor from ANY manufacturing background.

*Applicants from a process engineering background will have a considerable advantage

*Must have a proven track record of managing a team
