The role will be suitable for those with experience of servicing and maintaining any type of heavy machinery including railway plant equipment including, excavators (5ton, Compressors, Dumpers and Vibrating Rollers and many more
You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of plant machinery and associated equipment at the depot and occasionally on client sites. Those with a sound mechanical aptitude and some experience within a similar environment are encouraged to apply. Experience in fault diagnostics, hydraulics and knowledge of petrol and diesel engines is also favourable but not necessary.

Carry out planned maintenance, repair and servicing on plant machinery within the depot environment.
Complete comprehensive training alongside an existing team member to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
A mechanically biased maintenance or service engineer/technician from any engineering background
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to maintain the high standards of work
NVQ PLANT HEAVY 1&2 or NVQ MACHANICAL 1&2
Monday - Friday 07.00 - 17.00 - Overtime available
20 days holiday + bank holidays
