Workshop Administrator - Commercial Vehicle Maintenance

Location: Spalding, Lincs

Hourly Rate: £10.57 - £11.53 per hour

My client, a commercial vehicle service and maintenance specialist based in Spalding is actively seeking to employ a Workshop Administrator to work within their transport refrigeration department.

This Workshop Administrator role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will supplement the administration support processes within the Fleet Maintenance Control Team. Direct interaction with customers, colleagues and suppliers will play a major part within this role and as such, excellent communication skills are essential.

Duties will include:

• Using your IT skills you will maintain effective administration systems, including accurate and comprehensive data entry, in accordance with Company requirements and procedures
•Data input/costing of workshops/mobile engineer’s job cards.
•Logging enquiries within the maintenance team
•Managing low level breakdown’s
•Customer liaison / contact including odo reading and location updates
•Filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning and emailing documents
•Compiling letters and reports as required
•Providing general support with all admin tasks
•To build a rapport with internal customers to gain their confidence and trust.

Requirements:

•This a busy department so ability to work to tight deadlines is essential
•Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite)
•Must be organised and proactive
•Must be an effective communicator with good telephone manner

The hours of work for this exciting Workshop Administrator role will be 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday and the successful applicant can expect to earn £10.57 - £11.53 per hour depending on your experience.
