Workplace Consultant - London

Our client is an established manufacturer of workplace furniture. They are looking to employ a Workplace Consultant to focus on winning high-volume Strategic Projects, Business Group Priorities and Regional Priorities.

Job Summary:

  • High-performance front-line sales position within the Field Sales team
  • Engage heavily with customers, as highly skilled presenters and facilitators, during key touch points in the selling cycle
  • Help develop Company and Dealer sales people by modeling key behaviours throughout the sales process and mentor sales people within assigned geographic areas to build competence and confidence around Workplace Tools and Resources and Insights-Led Selling
  • Increase sales performance with a strong insight-led approach, disrupt thinking of the client by providing creative, tailored, engaging sales approaches, elevate conversation within a broader network in the account to get the credibility of key stakeholders (e.g. C-suite, HR, Brand/Marketing)
  • Be a "Go-To" Person when the most advanced, complicated situations arise. In this role you will have to effectively jump into situations providing a "Boost" to the team’s efforts then be able to effectively transition back out leaving the team on the right path to success
  • Closing profitable sales is the ultimate objective of this role
  • Part of the Sales Leadership Team
  • The role is part of the platoon approach and will act upon strategic accounts/opportunities
  • Ability to draw flawless and flexible connections of research/knowledge with Applications & Products for specific client situations
  • High ability to create new approaches and engagement with client groups
  • Ability to pull different elements of the value proposition together to surprise the customer
  • Ability to understand customer’s business context and in order to create a strong link with Company research and workplace design
  • Ability to immerse in different cultural context to adopt speech and approach
  • Strong team player with a challenger mindset that aims to build lasting strategic working relation-ship (internal & external)

Candidate Profile:

  • Self-starter, self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Have a proven track record in the planning, facilitation, and execution of the Company "Plays"
  • Have a proven track record in articulating our insights and how they apply to applications and products
  • Outstanding planning, organizing and prioritizing skills
  • Expert interpersonal skills with coaching and mentoring capabilities
  • Strong oral communication skills, facilitation and presentation skills and must be comfortable interacting with large groups
  • Knowledge of the processes/key concerns common to all businesses
  • Sets high goals and standards for self and others in the organization
  • Committed to excellence: accuracy in work and attention to detail
  • Broad exposure and understanding of corporate strategies
  • Extensive managerial skills are necessary for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach
  • Proficiency in English is a must. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus

Package:

  • £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
