Work Placement Officer

We currently have an opportunity for a Work Placement Officer to join our Prep 4 Life team. This role will involve liaising with curriculum staff and external organisations in order to identify, monitor, review and arrange appropriate work placements for students with learning difficulties or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out relevant administrative tasks and will arrange Disclosure and Barring Service Checks for students and may also carry out Health & Safety Risk Assessments.

The successful candidate must hold level 2 qualifications in literacy/English and numeracy/Maths. They will also bring with them to this role previous administration experience, an understanding of the role of workplace learning for FE students and a broad knowledge of Health and Safety and Insurance requirements within a workplace environment.

This post will involve working 22 hours per week and is based at our Conway Park Campus, Birkenhead. Access to your own transport is essential as the role involves travelling between employers across Merseyside.
