A market leading high street retailer renowned for it's trendy premium womenswear fashion is currently on the hunt for a WOMENSWEAR DESIGNER with exceptional fashion-forward knitwear design skills to join their Central London based design team.

As a Womenswear Knitwear Designer you will be an important part of their established design team reporting directly to the Head of Design. You will create directional trend-inspired knitwear womenswear designs inline with the buyer briefs, attending sales and development meetings in their showroom and internationally. You will work closely with their in-house buying & merchandising and technical teams, attending fabric shows, trade shows, fashion week, and international inspirational and development trips.

The ideal applicant must be working as an established knitwear Womenswear Designer for a premium or high street fashion retailer at a mid to senior level. Demonstrating exceptional multi-product nitwear & Jersey design skills, strong communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills with strong CAD and I.T skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe programs. You must have previous experience working with UK and international suppliers and factories, with the ability to create tech packs, have exceptional fabric knowledge and experience attending fabric shows. Strong garment construction knowledge is essential, along with experience working within a team and independently.
