The job of a Mobile Windscreen Technician
As part of a team of 48 Mobile Technicians, across the UK you will remove, refit and repair windscreens at approved locations, customers’ homes and workplaces and providing other services and products where appropriate. It’s also especially important that you deliver first class customer service at all times, ensuring that the customer is kept up-to-date with what you are doing, what repair methods you are using and answering any questions or concerns they may have. Attention to detail is critical in this role as is superb customer focus. The Windscreen Technician job also includes ensuring that equipment used is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements
What you will be doing
Our Mobile Repair service is fast paced and exciting with lots of opportunity to make an incredible difference and apply your expertise and skill. In the job of Windscreen Technician you will be replacing windscreens in many different marques of vehicle. This means performing preparation and refit to an extremely high standard. It is also important for you as a Windscreen Technician that you are fully up-to-date with latest techniques.
Although this is a job where you will be on your own for the majority of the time teamwork is still a very important aspect of the job as you may be required to train new starters, liaise with your dedicated scheduler and cover absences.
What we think good looks like
As a Windscreen Technician we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. With professionalism appearance we would also appreciate it if you were flexible as there is a large area to cover and travel involved. You must also have solid experience in glazing repair and refit, an NVQ Level 2 in Automotive Glazing or equivalent. It is also important to have excellent job knowledge and be highly motivated. Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full, clean UK/EU Driving Licence. We will help and support you with the rest
Complete 4 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £23,000 PA (£1916.67 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £166.67 per month in bonus
Complete 4.5 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £24,000 PA (£2000.00 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £250.00 per month in bonus
Complete 5 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £25,000 PA (£2083.33 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £333.33 per month in bonus
Complete 5.5 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £27,000 PA (£2250.00 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £500.00 per month in bonus
Complete 6 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £30,000 PA (£2500.00 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £750.00 per month in bonus
Complete 6.5 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £32,000 PA (£2666.67 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £916.67 per month in bonus
Complete 7 jobs a day – you will be paid as if your salary were £35,000 PA (£2916.67 PCM) – so a basic of £21,000 PLUS £1166.67 per month in bonus
