Windows System engineer

MHR are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Windows Systems Specialist to join our Hosted IT Services department. Reporting to the MHR Cloud Services Manager, you will be part of a technical team providing hosted systems and services to our customers and will be responsible for the day today technical support for the Windows Systems and associated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Provide technical support for the hosted Windows architecture, including physical and virtual hosted servers
*Pro- Actively Maintain systems and procedures in the pursuit of delivering to a target of 100% IT service availability
*Ensure the delivery of IT services to MHR customers in line with SLA and contracts
*Work with other members of the department to support and enhance the datacentre, network, compute and storage systems.
*Build and deploy Windows systems into the data centre environment as per best practice.

Key experience:
We are interested in hearing from candidates that have a positive attitude and proven background in a customer facing IT support environment, working with Microsoft Windows server technologies.
The role requires working a shift pattern covering core hours of 08:00-18:30 and a regular on call rota outside of these hours.
To be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate good experience of the following:

*Microsoft Windows server operating systems, preferably Windows 2008 / Windows 2012 / Windows 2016
*Microsoft Internet Information Server
*Microsoft System Centre Suite
*Active Directory domain administration.

In addition, experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

*SAP Business Objects
*Dell Storage Systems
*Cisco Networking
*Powershell scripting
*Palo Alto/Checkpoint Firewalls
