Windows 7/10 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer
This is a great opportunity to join a leading mobile technology organisation, in a role that will see you supporting members of staff on a global scale! Our client are looking for a talented Support Engineer, to join them for 6 months initially, and respond to service desk requests.
The chosen candidate will troubleshoot issues relating to user creation, installations, configuration, rollouts and system issues, ensuring they are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner, documented accurately and escalated where necessary.
Additionally, you will work closely with relevant departments, such as the infrastructure and security teams, to identify and resolve vulnerabilities, as well as configuring and managing hardware and other relevant assets.
Please note that this role may require you to travel to the client's other sites intermittently.
Candidates should ideally have no more than about 3 years' experience, and will need the following skills and/or attributes:
- Previous experience providing 1st/2nd line support, preferably within a small office environment
- Windows 7/10
- Active Directory
- Office 365
- Exchange 2007/2010
- Windows Server 2008/2012
- Remote support (via Lync, Skype, Teamviewer etc.)
- Mac OS X/Apple Hardware
- Smartphones and tablets
- SCCM/other imaging tools
- Laptop/Desktop rebuilds and repairs
