As the Field service Engineer you will be responsible for repairing, servicing and maintaining wheelchairs both in our dedicated workshop and out in the field for service users in Greater London and the surrounding areas.
This position would suit an individual who has a good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering or an individual who has worked in the domestic appliance industry.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Undertake Engineering work in terms of service and repairs to ensure our service user's manual and powered wheelchairs function correctly
Conduct service calls, repairs, servicing and maintenance as directed by the Service Manager.
Process all associated paperwork fully and accurately on a daily basis
Communicate effectively with all Customers at all times
Maintain a high standard of customer care, being sensitive to the unique needs of the Service User’s
To be considered for this position, you must have:
A full driving licence
Proven understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering
You must be organised, proactive and efficient
Good written communication skills
You must be flexible in your work approach
