Welsh Speaking Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, based in Cardiff and surrounding areas.

You will based with a large, very well established public sector organisation which operates with a presence across Wales. This role offers the opportunity to work from home and to work from your local office, although 1 day per week in the Cardiff Office will be compulsory. Your new role
You will be responsible for providing the highest level professional, efficient administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive. You will be responsible for line management of PAs and Administration staff, ensuring the team is working efficiently. You will support the Chief Executive to manage their time and commitments, book travel and accommodation arrangements and provide support in management meetings (Executive Team/Board). You will also be responsible for taking minutes and undertaking diary and inbox management for the Chief Executive. You will carry out workforce planning, complaints coordination plus prepare paperwork for meetings. You will be responsible for liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining and monitoring performance against goals, targets and objectives of yourself and your team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive PA/EA experience, supporting senior level managers and internal or external stakeholders. You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and use your own initiative. You will have a flexible approach to work and strong communication / interpersonal skills. You will feel confident liaising with various senior executives and politicians, whilst building strong stakeholder relationships. You will have the ability to motivate and lead a team successfully. Please note, for this position you must be a fluent, confident Welsh Speaker.

This role is a permanent position, which has a starting salary of £24,500, with yearly pay increases raising to £28,200 over 3 years. This organisation offers an excellent company pension policy, a very generous annual leave entitlement (28 days per year, raising to 33 days after 5 years' service) and the option to buy holiday days. This organisation also has flexi-time in operation.
