ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued expansion and growth Mick George Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced and hardworking ARC and MIG Welder to join our busy workshop function in Ellington, Cambridgeshire.

Duties will include the maintenance and repair to our extensive fleet of trailers, trucks and skips in order to minimise operational downtime.

This is a very busy Workshop that carries out a variety of tasks including Vehicle Refurbishment, Accident Repairs and Rigid Bodywork. Some mobile based welding may be required.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of MIG and ARC welding

  • Excellent fabrication skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to rapid business growth

  • The ability to work as part of a team or solely depending on size of task.

  • Good knowledge of basic Health & Safety procedures

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Full UK Driving License required
