Bradford based pressure equipment manufacturer with a great reputation for the quality and reliability of their finished product. The company is always focused on new and improved welding techniques and they have a great retention rate amongst their welding staff. Through increased demand and capacity they have a new vacancy for an experienced welder as follows;

Welding processes - Tig, Stick, Flux-Cored Arc, Sub Arc

You:

Must be able to work under your own initiative and take personal responsibility to produce quality work. The work involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings plus the ability to maintain and keep written records of the welds performed. The materials they deal in are heavy gauge mild steel along with thinner forms of Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys.

Candidates with previous or current codes intact for multiple welding processes would offer a distinct advantage - as would previous experience in welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components.

Reward:

We work a 38 hour week over four days (Mon-Thurs) with overtime available some Fridays and weekends (which is paid at an increased hourly rate). The work is varied and interesting as each piece of equipment is bespoke for different projects. The hourly rate for this permanent role will vary between £10 to £13.50 depending on experience. Holiday entitlement is 27 days per year, which includes bank holidays and Christmas shut down periods. (Additional long service days also available).
