A brand new opportunity has arisen to work as Weekend Helpdesk Team Leader for a national company in their flagship centre based in Aztec West.

The Weekend Helpdesk Team Leader will be responsible for a small team plus other Helpdesk Advisors working their weekend shifts.

Experience in a similar call centre and customer service environment is ideal, but this is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to make that 'step-up' into a permanent supervisory having had exposure to managing people for sustained periods.

With a 37.5 hours per week contract on offer, agreed working hours can be flexible; however, working both days every weekend is a must with Saturday and Sunday opening hours between 7am - 7pm (hours need to be covered by yourself and other members of the leadership team).

Weekend Helpdesk Team Leader Core duties:

  • Support your team to enable them to provide exceptional internal & external customer service, to maintain high levels of team member motivation and morale.
  • Act as a role model by managing my own attitudes, behaviours, and performance effectively, whilst consistently demonstrating the companies values, always taking a practical and common sense approach.
  • Ensure that, on a day to day basis, client requirements are met
  • Work with internal and external resources to instil a culture of job resolution
  • Working with other line managers to identify resource requirements or new working practices that may improve services to customers

To apply for the role of Weekend Helpdesk Team Leader your experience and skills should include:

  • Previous experience from within a similar role
  • Proven experience of managing, leading and motivating a customer service team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong team working and team building skills
  • IT skills to include Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

You will be required to attend one to two weeks, full-time training. Office based in Aztec West (between Almondsbury and Bradley Stoke), with free on-site parking.
