An internationally-renowned supplier of a range of coding and marking solutions to a variety of industries from Automotive to food is currently recruiting for a Web Developer - Javascript to work on a variety of projects on their IoT Platform.

This position is working for a well renowned growing global leading organisation and is based in Cambridgeshire and commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, St Ives, Huntingdon, Royston, Melbourne and more.

Profile for the Web Developer - Javascript:

Professional software experience working in a multi-discipline, agile development environment with a strong background in web front end development.

You will play a key role on their new IoT project. Prior IoT experience is desirable, but not essential. But a keen interest in IoT platforms is required.

The Web Developer - Javascript will be responsible for: -

*Responsibility and ownership of the design, development and maintenance of different aspects of IoT Platform and associated technologies from initiation through to integration into a released product.
*Specify, design, develop and test Web front and back end software for the companies IoT platform.
*Research and prototype new technologies and methods to improve customer workflows.
*Plan, design and deliver projects/tasks to agreed timescales in an Agile environment.

The successful candidate for this Web Developer - Javascript Job will have:

*Front-end programming languages and tools: Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, AJAX.
*Experience of any of the following web services: ASP.Net, WCF, JAX-WS
*Detailed knowledge and understanding of RESTful API (XML/JSON)
