Web Developer, Digital Developer - Excellent opportunity to join one of the world’s leading organisers of international trade exhibitions and conferences, based in North West London.

This is a varied role working in a friendly environment that is forward-thinking, results-driven and passionate about customer communications. Working within an international creative and development team, the Digital Developer will be involved in upgrading the current web infrastructure, developing new functionalities and applications, and for technical support for the digital marketing team.

As the Web Developer /Digital Developer you will be responsible for supporting the existing online infrastructure, as well as the development of new digital communications applications and websites. You will update and maintain the existing websites to ensure they keep up with user-experience, rich-media, technology and RWD principles, as well as leading the production of new sites and applications for future events.

You will assist project teams with technical issues in the planning phase of all digital projects. Your participation on development projects will be focused on smoothing the transition of solutions from development staff to operations staff.

Skills / Experience required:

  • Confident in support and development of .NET based CMS (ideally Kentico).
  • Proven track record of working with ASP.NET and front end presentation layer using WebForms or MVC.
  • Solid experience of C#.NET, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
  • Good knowledge of XML/XSL.
  • Understanding of back end development and integration with front end design.
  • Knowledge of web server applications and platforms (particularly cloud-based hosting solutions - Microsoft Azure, AWS).
