Web and Digital Media Assistant - Corporate Communications B4
The Communications Team is responsible for informing, explaining and engaging with the public, patients, staff, partners and the media on all aspects of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The Web and Digital Media Assistant will play a key role in delivering our digital strategy and driving our social media activity. You will ensure that web content is up to date, relevant and engaging for our audiences and support the team to make sure navigation and digital media are consistent and comply with NHSGGC corporate identity standards.
You will support all activity relating to the development and management of our NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) website. This includes identifying potential web issues ranging from front end content to the CMS back end and web server. You will provide support and guidance to NHSGGC web content editors located across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde via the Web Team helpdesk, to deliver high quality, up-to-date information that is relevant, user-friendly, accessible and consistent across the organisation. You will deal with enquiries ranging from day to day tasks through to urgent requirements, so you will need to be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload effectively. You will create, publish and monitor social media posts to deliver local and national campaigns and messages, which will support NHSGGC to engage directly with members of the public and other stakeholders. It is essential that you are educated to HND level in a relevant subject or have an equivalent level of training. You should have relevant recent experience in a web content development and/or support environment using Umbraco or similar modern web content management system. It would be desirable if you have a current driving licence as you maybe be asked to travel across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde sites. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
