We are working with a market leading and award-winning company who are looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic Website Support Assistant. The company sells software, websites and mobile apps to a range of automotive businesses, and due to expansion are looking for a new member to join their busy and hardworking website team.
This role will be at the frontline of client enquires so strong communication skills and experience in a customer facing role are vital. Working within the Website team, the role will involve supporting clients via phone and email with day to day changes and updates to their website, as well as being very involved in the "on-boarding" of new clients, including giving basic training and some data inputting.
While no technical knowledge is required for this role as training will be provided, the successful candidate will have adequate IT knowledge and a definite interest in web design and development, as well as an enthusiasm to learn. It would also be advantageous to have experience in an IT support or customer service role, although this is not essential. A logical and technical mindset, as well has a good level of literacy (ideally GCSE English at a C or above) and attention to detail are important characteristics that will be required. This person also needs to be an organised and logical thinker who enjoys problem solving, and would be able to take all the incoming enquiries, action those they are able to and escalate those that require more specialist attention.
