SEN Learning Support Assistants are needed for a Special Educational Needs school in Watford. If you already have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, or if you are looking to begin a career within the field of SEN, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Teaching Personnel are working in close partnership with Special Educational Needs schools across the Hertfordshire region and are looking for candidates who would be suitable to work within a purpose built SEN schools to help fill high demand of additional support for children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism and Learning Difficulties.   • Experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs or disabilities within a school or alternative environment
  • A passion for working with children or young people with additional needs
  • The ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional SEN training and qualifications would be desirable but not essential

Working at this school would involve working on a one to one basis with students with Autism and Learning Difficulties. You may also be required to support small groups of students with their education and development.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
