Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader?

Have you previously been a team leader within a warehousing environment, more specifically an electrical manufacturing environment?

Do you want to work for a leading global electrical manufacturer?

We are currently recruiting for a warehouse team leader for our large electrical manufacturing client based in Leeds (LS10). The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team, preferably within a warehousing environment.

Pay Rate and Hours of Work:

  • 25 - 27K per annum.
  • Days shifts, Monday - Friday.

  • To lead the Warehouse team and take on the day to day responsibilities of ensuring the safe and efficient manufacture & test of the companies range of products.
  • To take responsibility and ownership for the passage of work through the section working closely with all other areas within the organisational structure to ensure the seamless delivery of the companies manufacturing offers to the highest possible standards.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and that all legal Health and Safety obligations are met. Support Health and Safety representatives. Ensure all personnel is H&S conscious and fully aware of their obligations.
  • To motivate staff, monitor, control, and report upon the delivery performance of the production area.
  • To strive to deliver cost-effective improvements into the efficiency of the production area and provide evidence of such improvements.
  • To mentor and encourage all team members to achieve their full potential for the benefit of the individual and the business.
  • In order to ensure skills are available to meet the present and future needs of the department, determine and, implement as agreed with Process Manager, training requirement for staff. Ensure training records are maintained in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Continuation of existing duties and responsibilities as part of the manufacturing team
  • ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • SAP system experience and Knowledge
  • WMS - Warehouse Management Systems


  • Previous team leader experience is essential
  • Good man management skills and leading of teams.
  • Good standard of literacy & numeracy

  • Must be able to work well in a pressurised and demanding environment
  • Self-motivated and quality-focused
  • Good personal organisational skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills both face to face & via telephone

  • Good eye for detail
