Warehouse Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader to manage the day to day running of the Line Supply Teams for our door factory. The Supply Team Leader will have line management responsibility of the Line Supply Operators.

Key Responsibilities - Team Leader

• Manage expectations of the Door Production Factory as well as answering queries in a timely manner
• Oversee Line Supply of the Door Factory or Goods In if a Team Leader is on holiday
• Attend the daily AM production meeting and contribute towards the success of Production
• Ensure the quality control of profile and ancillaries, prepare checklists and supply to the Operational Risk team daily
• Report, quarantine and create the necessary paperwork for rejected items
• Maintain accurate stock counts with ongoing cycle counts, investigate and amend on X3. Stock requirements should be relayed to Procurement & the Head of Logistics
• Plan, forecast and utilise the Production progress sheets to maintain efficient stock levels for Production and the Kanban systems
• Manage the sub assembly operation, ensuring the stock of assembled parts is always at sufficient levels
• Responsible for the Health & Safety of employees, the maintenance of equipment used and PPE
• Daily - report hazard spots, maintain the vehicle check sheets and the staff register
• Manage the labour requirements including temporary staff
• Warehouse stock management, including the organisation, housekeeping and layout of stillage’s or racking
• Manage, monitor & action all Entropy Customer complaints & non-compliance issues
• Work with the Head of Logistics to monitor and make changes to the internal Line Supply
• Monitor and advise on any IT changes that may be required
• Organise, contribute and take minutes at the daily KitKat meetings
• Provide leadership, encouragement, training and development of the Line Supply Operators
• Conduct & record Quarterly reviews for all staff, sending the completed paperwork to HR
• Monitor, measure and document department KPI’s
• Work with the Head of Logistics to identify training requirements and keep the training matrix up to date

• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Be proficient in MS Office, Outlook and able to learn other systems
• Adaptable, resilient and able to act authoritative with tact
• Have excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
• Be able to work under pressure and be an excellent problem solver
• Have natural leadership skills and be able to motivate others

Additional Requirements - Team Leader

• Proven experience in a similar fast paced role with knowledge of manufacturing, warehouse processes, stock management and ideally experience of working with an ERP system
• Driving licence
• Level 3 certificate in Team leading or relevant sector experience
• Level 3 certificate in Warehousing and Storage or relevant sector experience
• Forklift Licence, Level 3 Manual Handling Trainer, RTITB Lift Truck Instructor would be an advantage

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per Annum + Benefits
