As the Distribution Team Leader you would be required to lead and supervise a team of operatives.
It is your responsibility to ensure safe, efficient and accurate distribution of orders and motivating staff to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and productivity is high. Other areas of your responsibility would include:
Ensure same day dispatch for all orders
Ensure pick accuracy levels remain within business target
Daily booking in of all lines received from UK suppliers
Strive for continuous improvement with Picking efficiencys
Ensure all workstations have the correct equipment and consumables for packaging
Quality Control checks and process
Candidates for this role need to demonstrate their ability to lead and motivate a team and have a background within warehouse operations.
Those candidates that have worked in a large distribution centre would be at an advantage.
