In this role, you will oversee operations in the absence of the line manager, ensuring that KPIs are met and the daily tasks run smoothly.

Overall Responsibility: As a Warehouse Supervisor at Uniserve, you will work closely with the line manager to ensure that all day-to-day operations follow our standard operating procedures (SOP).

Specific Responsibilities:

• Issuing staff workloads and ensuring that all tasks align with the line manager's instructions.
• Meeting operational KPIs on a daily and weekly basis.
• Conducting training and inductions for warehouse staff.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
• Overseeing equipment maintenance and reporting any faults using the correct documentation.
• Managing supplies of warehouse sundries.
• Monitoring site security in accordance with company security policies.
• Maintaining the overall appearance and orderliness of the warehouse.
• Handling staff performance and development issues appropriately.

Daily Routines:

• Collaborating with the line manager to review daily operational requirements and organizing staff accordingly to meet targets.
• Communicating daily plans and objectives with the line manager and staff.
• Providing regular updates to the line manager throughout the day.
• Analyzing and interpreting data from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to advise the line manager on staff performance and KPI goals.
