Job Summary: Are you a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity? In this role, you will oversee operations in the absence of the line manager, ensuring that KPIs are met and the daily tasks run smoothly.
Overall Responsibility: As a Warehouse Supervisor at Uniserve, you will work closely with the line manager to ensure that all day-to-day operations follow our standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Issuing staff workloads and ensuring that all tasks align with the line manager's instructions.
- Meeting operational KPIs on a daily and weekly basis.
- Conducting training and inductions for warehouse staff.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
- Overseeing equipment maintenance and reporting any faults using the correct documentation.
- Managing supplies of warehouse sundries.
- Monitoring site security in accordance with company security policies.
- Maintaining the overall appearance and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Handling staff performance and development issues appropriately.
- Collaborating with the line manager to review daily operational requirements and organizing staff accordingly to meet targets.
- Communicating daily plans and objectives with the line manager and staff.
- Providing regular updates to the line manager throughout the day.
- Analyzing and interpreting data from the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to advise the line manager on staff performance and KPI goals.
