An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a world leading, privately owned company who specialise in the design & manufacture of scientific instrumentation based in Cambridge.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, based in Cambridge, you will be responsible for Goods In/Despatch teams, reporting into the Operations and Delivery Manager. You will work closely with Production Management, Planning, Assembly Team Leaders, Sales, Service and Sales Order Processing.

The ideal Warehouse Supervisor will have experience in monitoring warehouse inventory, maintain stock accuracy, maintain disciplines on traceability, ensure production have the correct quantity of materials/components in the right location at the right time, raise picking tickets and ensure goods are despatched on time to meet all customer requirements. You will manage a team of 6 to ensure all department procedures, processes are fully followed.

The Warehouse Supervisor, Cambridge, will have minimum 3 years-experience in goods in / despatch environment within a Manufacturing environment, proven work experience as a supervisor in a busy goods in and despatch department and knowledge of warehouse software packages.
