Warehouse - Section Leader

Based in Deeside our client is looking for a warehouse team leader (on a permanent contract). This is working for a large multinational who are known for employee satisfaction and retention.

The Role
The role will see you be an active member of the team. You will only spend roughly 20% of your time behind the desk.
The area manager will arrange the daily tasks of the warehouse (when and where). It will be down to you to keep track of the team – ensuring the team do what they’re meant to be doing
Organise daily tasks in order to optimise the department in line with company parameters
Use of computer packages such as Word, Excel and MFG Pro and RF Express.
All work prepared is to be accurate, to be completed in timely manner.
Pallets to be booked onto the system using QAD when received from different site
Pallets should be inspected and wrapped accordingly before being taken to the appropriate area for storage/distribution
Ensure that goods are picked in accordance with the despatch note, updating the row contents as stock is removed.
Place goods onto the loading bay, scanning the goods and printing appropriate despatch note
Check the goods prior to loading them and complete a despatch note
Take action whenever you believe that any act contravenes Health, Safety & Environmental standards
Ability to prioritise and organise own work load for the requirements of the department and business as a whole.


Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone who has been a team leader/supervisor in a warehouse before. This experience should have been gained from either a chemical company or a food company. Another must for this role is someone with a counterbalance licence.

This is a shift based role – 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
