Working flexible office hours, duties of the role will include (but may not be limited to) generating and updating weekly production requirements into daily packing and milling plans for onsite manufacturing operations. Liaising with staff regarding availability of stocks, shortage investigation and planning, with regards to forward plans to accommodate demand. Working with a QA to generate finished product release documents and any shortage validation documents which are normally completed by advisory emails. There may also be 3rd party production planning and liaison, and you must be able to generate stock reports at month end. There are KPI's included within this role and daily operational meetings.
Applicants must have experience within a planning role (MPS, MRP and Forecasting), strong analytical skills enabling good quality decision making, attention to detail to ensure against erroneous production plans and good communication skills, to ensure stakeholders are always kept informed. You must also have the ability to convey and communicate decisions to ensure departmental support, have strong Excel ability with strong organisational skills for this busy high profile role.
It is desirable, but not essential, that you have a willingness and the drive to want to develop this current role, be trained within specific supply chain areas, have knowledge of lean tools and techniques with some experience using JDE (Enterprise Systems).
