We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated candidate who will work as a Warehouse Operative and undertake general warehousing duties on a daily basis, a hard working individual who is also qualified to drive a 5 tonne vehicle!
What does the role involve?
In this role you will ensure that the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed. You will be required to assist with deliveries, un-loading and loading of vehicles at the branch. We are looking for someone who will maintain a clean and safe working environment and who will be an asset to the day to day goings within the branch.
This role may also include some driving duties, where you will be required to deliver to a schedule and work to timescales, therefore holding a Cat C1 licence and up to date CPC training would be ideal for this role.
As a Warehouse Operative at SIG you will be required to adhere to our Zero Harm health and safety policy and undertake all your duties to the highest and safest standards. As this role is safety critical, you may be subject to random testing under SIG’s Alcohol and Substance Misuse policy if successful in the role.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, a great team player and able to work on their own initiative. If you are able to operate in a safe and timely manner, meeting customer expectations, you will be ideal for this role!
To apply, candidates should be able to operate basic IT packages and it is desirable that you hold a Cat C1 licence, along with a digital tacho licence.
