My client is looking for a dynamic individual who demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for wanting to further develop their career within Supply Chain. The successful incumbent will ideally have experience in managing general Warehouse operations across inventory and logistics.
The role will be required to support the Warehouse Manager in analysing the overall performance of the operation and presenting reports to board level. Therefore excellent communication skills and attention to detail are critical. There will be autonomy to implement new KPI's and procedures to ensure the team performance is measured and delivering to its full potential.
Duties & Responsibilities;
Overseeing a team of 6 within stock control and transport
Management of all inbound and outbound freight
Analysing performance levels, producing detail reports to present to board level
Overseeing 3PL performance and negotiating costs
Manage and maintain accuracy of stock levels in line with customer demand

Ideally Degree educated or holds professional supply chain qualifications
Experience in working within a Wholesale/ Distribution environment would be highly beneficial
Previous leadership / management experience
Excellent analytical skills and the ability identify areas of improvement
Confident communicator with strong presentation and reporting skills
Previous experience in managing freight costs would be highly advantageous
Experience in working with international suppliers
