Are you a self-driven Warehouse Manager, that is prepared to be hands on and can demonstrate they are able to achieve results? My client has a new opportunity for a Warehouse Manager, to work for a Leading high producing Aluminium glazing systems and bespoke company.

The Role

The Warehouse Manager will oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met, quality standards are maintained and stock levels are managed.


  • Manage and lead Warehouse Supervisors and team of Warehouse Operatives, approximately 80 staff
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
  • Improve warehouse operation policies through KPIs and warehouse standards
  • Reduce wastage and improve efficiency
  • Liaison with customers and suppliers with a focus towards on time delivery
  • Efficient utilisation of storage space and planning
  • Keep Stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Ensure BSI ISO accreditation is consistently achieved
  • Control Costs and ensure budgetary targets are met

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager in a SME
  • A track record of implementing improvement procedures, standards and systems
  • Increasing productivity ,Cost saving strategies and reducing wastage
  • Health and Safety training
  • Logistics and Transport Management
  • Quality Control

Knowledge/experience of Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Six sigma, Kanban systems, Kaizen, Just In Time and ISO accreditation would be an advantage.
