My client, a hugely successful and growing 'Industrial Equipment Supplier’, with lovely offices and a Warehouse, in North London - seek a Warehouse Assistant, to report into the Warehouse Manager and work within a small team of warehouse staff.
The role is Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 5.30, requires someone who is a good team player, is reliable and perhaps has some form of similar experience.
Main duties of the role will include;
Booking in deliveries from suppliers
Booking in collections from our own drivers and routing them to the correct dept.
Making regular checks of stock levels and informing the relevant department of
shortfalls or overstocks.
Picking and packing customer orders
Checking customer orders prior to despatch.
Assisting with the loading of the company vans
Booking motorcycle carriers for emergency delivery.
Making sure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
Overseeing customer collections.
Serving customers requirements on our trade counter.
Forklift operating (training given if needed)
Lifting and moving of stores equipment within safety guidelines.
