Warehouse and Customer Service Operations Manager is key to ensuring high service delivery levels in a highly successful business in which you will oversee Warehouse/Logistics operations, Customer Service, Facilities/Site, company insurances and car fleet.
You will be joining an award winning business which supplies high end products to both the retail and project specification market. The company has grown an average 20% year-on-year and now exports to over 70 countries with newly established Asian and US subsidiaries. The business ethos is based around simple yet highly creative designs and a passion for delivering on customer service and quality. Based at the company’s prestigious global Head Office, the Warehouse and Customer Service Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO in this £30m pa turnover business, and the Warehouse Manager and Sales Administration Manager will report to you.
Duties include: •Ensuring the smooth flow of products into and out of the company’s warehouses and that the warehousing operations safeguard the company’s stock while on site. •Taking responsibility for all aspects of warehouse operations and development. •Taking responsibility for the company’s offices and all aspects of office management. •Ensuring the smooth operation of the Sales Administration Team, and thus ensuring customer orders are efficiently and effectively fulfilled on a timely basis. •Identifying, recruiting and retaining appropriate personnel for those relevant areas of responsibility. •Ensuring the company’s customer service standards are met or exceeded for those relevant areas of responsibility. •Dealing with the company’s global insurance requirements. •Assisting in the implementation of the company car policy. •Ensuring adherence to HR and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
To be shortlisted, applicants for the post of Warehouse and Customer Service Operations Manager will have held positions of similar scope and responsibility (across Sales Administration, Warehouse Operations, Office Management/Insurances, etc) and their personal qualities will lend themselves to performing a key role in an exceptionally successful and professional business operation which has a strong customer focus.
