Warehouse Administrator
About the role
As a Warehouse Administrator at DS Smith, you will be tasked with managing the effective organisation of all inbound deliveries through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Another key part of your role will focus on data and administration - KPIs, daily site reports, stock discrepancy investigations, warehouse management system queries, and potential departmental improvements will make up a significant portion of your responsibilities.
We'll be relying on your skills to achieve excellent inventory management, through optimisation of stock checks and daily stock analysis. You'll also coach operational teams to ensure best use of the warehouse management system. These actions will also help you to keep on top of various outbound and inbound management tasks.
This role requires a hands on approach, excellent communication skills and a keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities so that we can encourage colleagues to reach their full potential and continue to deliver an outstanding service to our customers.
About you
- Experience in warehouse environments with good knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Experienced in driving continuous improvement projects
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communicator - verbal and written
- A competency problem solver with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues
- Able to work at pace, committing to deadlines in a pressured environment
- A team player that can work collaboratively with other departments to achieve goals
