8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Responsible for processing repair quotes, repair orders, and supporting the sales staff. Perform all related tasks that encompass customer service in the repair department. Also responsible for expediting all returns in house and all return cases that are pending. This will include all returns for credit and repair. In addition, to coordinate the Distribution returns by contacting the Manufacturer and customer as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft based systems such as Excel, Outlook


  • Repair service writing
  • Provide customer service & support and work jointly with sales staff to close orders
  • Process & manage customer quotes not assigned to a salesperson
  • Open repair quote expediting (follow-up w/ customers to obtain quote approval)
  • Repair order expediting (provide order status updates to customers)
  • Quote-to-order transfer
  • Complete CRM task assignments w/ customer oriented follow-up to assure completion
  • Outsource Processing (requires working w/ vendors & customers to complete repair orders)
  • To stage and record incoming returns for PLC, Distribution, Repairs.
  • Updating system notes to indicate status and communicating with the customer when necessary.
  • Assist in resolving warranty and return issues in accordance with policies.

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

9.00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday

Primary duties of this position are to assist in receiving and packaging orders.

To be responsible for photographing and receiving parts in a production environment, with a continued focus on process and improvement and daily goal attainment.

To receive in all parcels from couriers, ensuring packages are correctly accounted for. Identify all incoming products, breakdown, and allocate to the correct department. General knowledge of Windows based software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)


Receiving of non-surplus goods - inspect physical goods and match against vendor packing list and documentation; perform formal receiving processes in appropriate systems against appropriate documents which includes purchase orders, returned goods authorizations (RGAs) for repairs and order returns

  • Hand-off of repairs, warranties, parts, non-surplus stock for inventory; delivery of internal assets and supplies to requesting person or department
  • Processing and management of customer product returns
  • Processing and fulfillment of daily distribution/FNFP orders
  • Preparation, packaging, and shipping of all orders
  • End-User checks and licenses on exports
  • Research, preparation and dispatch/export of Hazardous goods (all by air / batteries by road )
  • All export documentation
  • Certificates of conformance of sealed exports and giving customs clearance on imports
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, customs, government agencies, internal and external customers, and vendors both verbally and written on a daily basis
  • Advise sales and customers on dispatches to Europe/ROW on HS codes and country of origin
  • Advise shipping department staff on any issues regarding receiving /shipping /invoicing and packing
  • Receiving in all parcels correctly and allocating to the correct department.
  • Breakdown and place all products into the correct bins, ensuring all conveyers are clear at day end.
  • Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment, ensuring all orders are packaged and labelled correctly.
  • Report any delivery problems to Manager.
  • Keep shipments on schedule
  • To book and arrange collections, keeping spreadsheet updated
  • Maintain an organized shipping environment - general housing including emptying recycling bins and restocking order bins.
  • Maintain our focus on customer service while performing various order processing tasks
  • Occasional business related phone calls to inside and outside sales and customer service
  • Light lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Any other duties as directed by management.
  • Package Handling - Employee must maintain standard packaging procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
  • Packaging counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard.
  • Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders packaged and his/her performance level as measured against volume demand.
  • Able to input and complete orders by invoicing whilst assuring accuracy is maintained and adjusting to the volume of work.
  • Identify problem orders by email and highlight to shipping department and anomalies.
  • Other duties include "ship hold and credit hold " shelves.
