Warehouse Admin Clerk
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Admin Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure the effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that municipal finances are accurate and up to date.
YOUR JOB - your tasks will include:
- Perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
- Provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
- Answer and follow up on all customer enquiries and on the phone.
- Adherence to the companies Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Perform other related duties as required.
YOUR PROFILE: Experience and Qualifications -
- GCSEs or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of office management and bookkeeping procedures.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining ledgers.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level.
- Strong telephone skills.
- Customer Orientated - Be respectful to customers as the highest priority of the business.
- Effective Communicator / Good listener - Effective written & verbal communication skills.
- Numerical & Logical Ability -Have the ability to work with numbers in a competent and confident way.
- Hardworking, Conscientious, & Self Motivated - Possessing a high degree of self-confidence and maturity. Motivated by internal goals and have tenacity in chasing goals.
- Team & Collaborative Working - Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives.
- Attention to Detail & Organised - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
- Honest & Ethical - Demonstrating honesty and being a role model for honest and ethical business practices. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the Administration Clerk.

Additional Information:
This is a permanent position which is subject to a 6-month probationary period. We need our employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
