War Child charity street fundraiser - immediate start - £9.50-£12/hr
War Child believe in a world where no child’s life is torn apart by war. By protecting, educating and defending the rights of children caught up in war zones, War Child have been able to reach and help over 126,000 children globally in 2015 alone; but there’s so much more to do.
This is a Full-time role
Hours: 10am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)
Wage: £9.50-£12/hr
Weekly Pay & Holiday Pay
Full training (no experience required) and immediate start
MUST BE 18 OR OLDER
As a War Child street fundraiser, you will work in teams of like-minded people in different London locations every day. Engaging with members of the public in a conversation, you will explain the impact of War Child’s vital work and seek to secure a long-term donation via a Direct Debit.
We are looking for confident, outgoing communicators that don't want to spend their days behind a desk and feel passionately about children’s rights. If you love the outdoors, love meeting new people, can brush off rejection easily and want to spend your days doing something positive, you are already well on the way to being a fundraiser.
By joining War Child, you will be part of an exciting new in-house (working directly for the charity) fundraising operation with plenty of scope for growth and personal progression.
Whilst past experience in face-to-face fundraising or sales is desirable, it’s certainly not essential! Full training is provided and with the aid of an industry leading training and management structure, you’re guaranteed to realise your potential.
Whether you’re looking to do something new and rewarding for a few months or are looking to develop within the fundraising industry, this is a unique opportunity to join a progressive, dynamic organisation and stand up for the rights of children affected by war all over the world
