We are looking for an experienced Waking Nights Residential Care Worker to work in a Residential Children's Home based in Crewe. This is an opportunity to be part of a team who are giving young people a chance to be the best versions of themselves. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children who haven't had the best to start in life.
Your main responsibility will be to support and encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities. You will also be required to ensure record keeping and administrative duties are met including care plans and all relevant paperwork is updated
To carry out this role you will need a good standard of literacy and numeracy together with a Diploma Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce, Social Work Degree or equivalent or willingness to work towards the above Level 3 qualification.
It is essential that you have one year's experience of working in a residential setting with young people. You will also need to be a driver with a Full UK drivers license.
In return you will receive a very competitive salary up to £23,375.00 depending on experience. Pension, health care scheme and lots of opportunity for learning and development. The role includes shift work including evenings, weekends and sleeps.
