Waking Night Supporter

Job Role
You will work in our residential accommodations during the night from 22:00-08:00 (0830 finish over a weekend). You will be responsible for the health and safety of learners overnight; there will be other staff on shift who are sleep in staff within the college. You will work a rota pattern covering weekdays and weekends.
The role could involve assisting with personal care, medication administration and all household activities. There are quality assurance processes that need to be followed as part of our CQC registration. You will be expected to contribute to the writing and reviewing of support plans, risk assessments and completing records. You will need to be able to work with and alongside the wider MDT. You will be expected to participate in training when required; this training may be online or face to face and could fall on your allocated day off.
Candidate Profile
You will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible. You should be able to work a rota pattern covering hours from 22:00 to 08:00 (08:30 finish on a weekend) including working weekends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Experience working within care or education services, or working with vulnerable people would be beneficial.
Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
