The respite center has around 40 regular service users coming in and out for short stays and also offers an emergency service within the home, you would be working along side a wide range of service users and have to be able to adapt your skills and experience to work with each of them.
Whilst working you will not be alone as there is a sleep in member of staff every evening as well, you will be completing regular checks, along with standard support worker duties (cleaning, prepping etc.).
Your main priority in this role will be keeping yourself and the service users safe.
You will be working across 3 nights a week, and should be flexible as to which days these fall on in regards to the staff rota. Night shifts are usually between 10pm and 7am, which will include an uplift in pay.
