Job Title: Support Worker (Waking Nights)

Location: Newmarket Suffolk

Contract: Full time, Part Time and relief

Hours: 39 Hours a week

Salary: (£9.50 per hour)

We need Support Workers in Newmarket to make our vision a reality.

What does a Support Worker do?

The role of a Support Worker is to ensure the people you support are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support worker in Newmarket to work waking nights to ensure two ladies living together in a supported living bungalow are safe and secure during the night and If they require any assistance during the night, a friendly face and confident person to attend to their needs.

The shift times are 20.45 - 07.45 and we would welcome applicants for any number of nights on contracted hours.

For those of you who are 'Night Owls’ or find these hours fit in around you, your family or other obligations, then this is the job for you!

What experience do I need?

You don't need to have worked in supported living before to be a good Support Worker.

If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You'll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions.

A basic level of English and Math is also required.
