Working Hours: Any time from 8am - 6:30pm (some duties finish at 4pm, some finish at 12pm and the last Friday of every month staff could be required to work the After Hours event.
An exciting opportunity to contribute to the work of a world class visitor attraction and science research center. We are seeking visitor Assistants to cover the upcoming Easter break. You will need to be fully available for duration of the half term break and will have a genuine interest / enthusiasm for the Museum.
In order to become a Visitor Assistant - you will have had some customer service exposure in previous roles and / or some experience of working within a similar environment. You will need to be fully available for duration of the half term break and will have a genuine interest / enthusiasm for the Museum.
The Visitor Services section of the Public Engagement Group aims to provide the Museums visitors with an experience of the highest quality. Visitor Services acts as the Museums key front-line team providing a welcoming, friendly, and safe environment with an approachable, professional, and knowledgeable team.
The Visitor Services Team will facilitate public access to the Museum; act as ambassadors for the Museum; to interact with, engage and enthuse the visitor through the exhibitions, collections, programme and products on offer. The team will help to communicate the unique role of the Museum as both an exceptional visitor attraction but also a world-leading resource centre.
We are holding an assessment on 21st March; successful applicants are expected to be fully available for this day and to start from 28th March. You will need to have full availability from 28th March until 16th April.
