The University of Law is one of the UK’s leading providers of legal education and training, working right at the heart of the legal profession and with an impressive history going back to 1876. We bring together teaching of the highest quality, a focus on practical skills and innovative learning styles to deliver perfect preparation for life in legal practice and ongoing professional development.
The University is in an ongoing, exciting period of growth and expansion with 2019 seeing us open two new campuses - Nottingham and Hong Kong - and further expanding our Business school offering both in the UK and in Berlin.
Reporting to the Senior Visa Compliance Officer, the purpose of this role is to work closely with stakeholders across the University to implement and review all policies and processes concerning our Tier 4 sponsor duties to the Home Office. This includes assessing and advising on the eligibility for Tier 4 sponsorship of prospective and current students and maintaining up-to-date audit trails and records for all Tier 4 Students registered at the University.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in administration in an education setting with strong database management skills. Previous experience of working with international students and/or Tier 4 compliance knowledge would be advantageous but not essential. The role will suit individuals who enjoy auditing and exploring new processes.
For a confidential discussion and/or the further particulars, please contact our retained advisor Sian Gardiner of The Management Recruitment Group.
Direct applications to the University will not be accepted.
Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University - which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) has been exclusively retained for this campaign. All direct and third-party applications will be forwarded to MRG.
Closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 23rd February 2020.
